Meridian

Located in the geographical heart of Idaho's Treasure Valley, the city of Meridian offers a great central location offering a balance of a small-town feel with all the conveniences found with city living. Located just 15 minutes from the Boise airport and 15 minutes from downtown Boise while also being close to rural land, Meridian offers a little bit for everyone. It is close to the freeway, shopping, dining, and entertainment. Notably, The Village at Meridian, is a popular place to walk around for shopping, dining and entertainment venues such as bowling, seasonal ice skating, and movie theater. Need a break from the city life offered at The Village? The beautiful Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park is located right across the street. It is a great spot for picinics, play, or a walk on its nice path. Meridian's Settlers Regional Park, a 58-acre regional park, is another great place to check out boasting large playgrounds, baseball gields, splash area, disc golf, tennis, and horseshoes. The park also hosts free outdoor movies during the summer months. Meridian has 24 parks to explore and plenty of community events. Additionally, in the summer, Meridian’s Speedway hosts Motorsport race track events on their quarter mile paved asphalt. They host late model racing, modified racing, and other various local racing events. The track is known for being the track that Hailie Deegan won her first NASCAR race at making her only the second female to win a NASCAR race. She won the 2018 West Series race at the Meridian Speedway. Meridian has a strong job market with large employers such as: Blue Cross of Idaho, Scentsy, and St. Luke's. The town is also known for two of the best family friendly entertainment facilities in the state including Wahooz Family Fun Zone and Roaring Spring Water Park. Overall, Meridian offers great city ammenities, views of the mountains, access to parks, local events, entertainment, and is located in a great central spot.
